Spiral Client Agreement

By booking or paying for The Spiral, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

These terms apply to all Spiral Coaching services provided by The Fresh Start Program (ABN 71 142 804 251) (“The Program”), including sessions and related materials.

Scope of Spiral Coaching

The Spiral is a 7-stage / 10-session Emotional Clearing process, designed to support deep personal insight, emotional transformation, and meaningful change. Sessions use Emotional Clearing and do not include therapy, psychological counselling, trauma therapy, or medical treatment.

You acknowledge that:

  • Spiral Coaching is complementary care, not a substitute for therapy, counselling, or medical treatment.
  • Results vary between individuals and may take time to become fully apparent, including after completion of the full 7-stage / 10-session process.

Client Responsibility & Coaching Relationship

You acknowledge that:

  • You are fully responsible for your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, and for seeking additional support if needed.
  • Spiral Coaching is collaborative and requires your active participation and honesty.
  • If you have a history of significant trauma or any mental health condition, you agree to disclose this prior to commencing the Spiral so readiness and appropriate support can be considered.
  • If you are currently under the care of a psychologist, psychiatrist, counsellor, or other medical practitioner, you agree to inform them of your participation in Spiral Coaching and to disclose your practitioner to your Spiral Coach. Clear communication is in your best interests.
  • You will disclose any current or recent (within six months) use of prescription medication (including antidepressants) or recreational substances, as these may affect your results.
  • You understand the practitioner may be direct and honest with you, and you agree to communicate openly if feelings of discomfort, frustration, resentment, or emotional transference arise.
  • You have chosen to work with this practitioner based on your trust in their ability and expertise.

Emotional Clearing & The Spiral Process

You understand that:

  • Spiral Coaching uses Emotional Clearing, an emotionally transformational process. You may experience a range of emotions, physical sensations, or shifts in awareness during or after sessions.
  • Each level of The Spiral affects people differently, and results may not be immediately apparent.
  • Completing the full 7-stage Spiral process is strongly recommended, as stopping partway may limit effectiveness.
  • Emotional Clearing does not guarantee changes in behaviour or life circumstances unless you take supportive actions. Your practitioner may provide guidance, but integration is your responsibility.
  • Sessions take place in a non-judgemental, confidential, and emotionally safe space.

Sessions, Booking & Changes

  • Sessions are delivered online or in-person, as agreed.
  • You are responsible for booking and attending your sessions.
  • A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Sessions cancelled with insufficient notice may be forfeited.
  • The practitioner may need to reschedule sessions due to illness or emergencies, with reasonable notice provided wherever possible.

Payment & Refunds

  • Payment is required in full prior to the first session, or via a written payment plan agreed with your practitioner.
  • There are no refunds except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of The Program.

Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

  • To the extent permitted by law, The Program (including its employees, agents, and contractors) is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your participation in Spiral Coaching.
  • Total liability for any claim is limited to the total fees paid by you under this agreement up to the date the claim arose.
  • You agree to indemnify The Program and its employees, agents, and contractors against any loss, damage, or claims arising from your participation or breach of this agreement.

Confidentiality

  • All information shared during Spiral Coaching is confidential.
  • Confidentiality may only be broken where:
    • There is a clear and imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or
    • Disclosure is required by law.
  • Your practitioner may discuss non-identifying information with professional supervisors for supervision, training, and ethical standards.

Intellectual Property

  • All content provided as part of Spiral Coaching remains the intellectual property of The Program.
  • Materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, sold, or distributed without written permission.

Acknowledgement

By booking or paying for Spiral Coaching, you confirm that you understand the nature, scope, and boundaries of Spiral Coaching. You acknowledge that the process has been explained and that you provide informed consent. You accept full responsibility for your participation, outcomes, and integration of insights from the process.
