HOLD UP!

Before you do anything else, I want to ask - Did you listen to at least ONE of the Relaxation & Breathwork audios yesterday? This part is SO IMPORTANT... If you didn't, go and listen to one of them now if you can, and schedule in / plan when you'll listen to at least one of them today (or perhaps you already have! Yay!)...

Day 2 - Urge Surfing

Today's strategy is 'Urge Surfing', which is all about creating a space to step back... and give yourself the opportunity to 'ride the wave' of the urge to eat when you're not genuinely hungry or when faced with treats or food that often tempts you. Becoming a witness or an observer to the urge and allowing a few minutes to pass, perhaps while you do something else, can create a whole new awareness and opportunity for you to master your mindless eating. See what you notice...

 

Remember:

1. Capture your reflections during the day in your Reflection Resource so you have a record in front of you and can spot the themes;

2. Put some time aside to listen to one of the Relaxation and Breathwork audios so that you're filling your self-care cup! Even if it's the last thing you do before bed, make sure it happens...
